In-office, Pasadena
Sessions at 210 S. Orange Grove Blvd., a quiet, private setting close to Old Pasadena.
Who I work with
I treat individuals who suffer from persistent anxiety, dissociation or numbness, and those afraid of conflict and asserting themselves.
My clients tend to find themselves in cycles of unfulfilling relationships or burnout and are seeking a more sustainable lifestyle. Artists, students, and ambitious professionals often find their way to my practice.
Approach
In session, I weave together depth psychology, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and nervous system regulation tools to soothe, understand, and integrate your inner world with your ideal lifestyle and relationships. My approach is warm, direct, and creative as we work through both past and present experiences to achieve lasting change.
Working with what lives beneath the surface — patterns, images and history that shape present-day life.
Parts work that helps you meet, understand and unburden the different voices inside you.
Somatic tools to soothe activation and numbness, so insight can land in the body as well as the mind.

In their words
Burnout had me living in a permanent low hum of anxiety. Working with Emma, I stopped treating my sensitivity as a defect and built a pace I can actually sustain — creatively and in my relationships.
I came in numb and afraid of conflict at work. The parts work gave me language for what was happening inside, and the somatic practices meant I could actually feel the difference, not just understand it.
Emma is warm and genuinely direct, which is rare. Depth work on my family history changed the way I show up in my relationships rather than just explaining them to me.
